Description
Bread kvass is a traditional Slavic drink made from kvass wort, flour and malt, rye bread with the addition of aromatic herbs, honey, and berries.
Bread kvass has a light brown to caramel color, stable light foam, tart refreshing taste and bread aroma.
Usage: bread kvass is used as an independent soft drink, and traditional summer soups of Russian cuisine are prepared on its basis — okroshka, botvinya and tyura. Meat, game and poultry are stewed in kvass.
Benefits: bread kvass contains amino acids of natural origin, B vitamins, minerals. It stimulates the activity of the gastrointestinal tract, has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin and hair.
It is important to remember that excessive consumption of bread kvass is not recommended if there are problems with the digestive system, ulcers, gastritis and a "weak" stomach. The drink can cause excessive gas formation and intestinal discomfort.
