Description
Vanilla sugar is an aromatic sugar that is obtained by mixing crushed vanilla pods with powdered sugar. It has a pleasant vanilla flavor (weaker than vanilla) and a sweet taste inherent in ordinary sugar.
Usage: vanilla sugar is used to make sweet dishes: pastries, desserts, puddings, drinks. It is added to the dough before baking, in hot drinks, desserts at the rate of 4-8 g per kilogram of the dish. The main thing is to do this before heat treatment to allow the vanillin to be evenly distributed throughout the volume.
Ingredients: sugar, flavoring. May contain traces of milk, cereals containing gluten and nuts
