Description
Citric acid is a white, odorless crystalline substance. It tastes strongly sour.
Usage: citric acid is used as an acidity regulator, antioxidant, flavor enhancer and preservative in the food industry. It is added to jelly, compotes and other drinks, and is also used in the preparation of meat, fish, borscht, second courses, many sauces, gravies, especially mushrooms.
