Why Smak

Our goal: to give people with Eastern European roots living in Western Europe an easy way to buy the food they know.

Shops with this food already exist. But few of them sell online with delivery: a website, online payment and couriers take time and know-how.

Smak is a new product that brings these shops together in one online storefront. The customer enters a postcode, sees the products of the nearest partner shop, and a courier brings the order.

For the shop, it is quick and simple: the AI built into Smak creates the catalogue from supplier invoices. You can start selling within a few hours.

How to join

Five steps from your first email to your first orders.

  1. Apply

    Email contact@thesmak.com with your shop’s name, address and a contact person.

  2. Contract and details

    Your legal details (SIRET, VAT number) and IBAN.

  3. Your shop in Smak

    We set up your shop, the delivery area around it and your dashboard access.

  4. Catalogue in a few hours

    From your supplier invoices, AI creates the product cards, prices with your markup, and stock.

  5. Launch

    We check the storefront together and switch your shop on: customers in your area see your products, and the courier picks up orders from you.

After that: a new supplier invoice once a week updates prices and stock, and payouts arrive by bank transfer.
